Product role

Software for IUID lifecycle and defense shipment workflows

Prime2Defense is a specialized Rocket RFID software product for defense-related workflows where UID/IUID item data, serialization, UID label records, packing structures, shipping documentation, and controlled review steps need to stay connected.

RFID remains important when a current contract, program, legacy process, or customer requirement calls for it, but Prime2Defense should not be described as only an RFID shipping product. The durable center of the product is item identity, lifecycle data, labels, shipment relationships, and validated submission workflow.

IUID lifecycle

UID/IUID is more than a label print step

IUID work starts with unique item identity data and continues through serialization, marking, item records, parent/container relationships, shipment records, lifecycle data, review, and reporting. Prime2Defense is intended to help organize that workflow so the item identity remains connected to the shipment and recordkeeping process.

Public copy should stay conservative because applicable requirements depend on the current contract and government systems. Configuration should be validated against the authoritative requirement before live use.

Capabilities

What Prime2Defense can support

UID/IUID data creationSupport unique item identity data, serialization, item records, UID label values, and lifecycle fields that need controlled creation and review.
UID label and Data Matrix workflowsCoordinate UID label data and machine-readable marking workflows so the item identity, label, and record stay aligned.
Container and shipment relationshipsConnect item, container, pallet, shipment, label, and document relationships so packing and shipment data follow the configured workflow.
Reporting and submission workflowPrepare and validate data for the customer's reporting or submission workflow, including WAWF/PIEE or UID Registry processes where they apply.
Contract-specific RFID supportSupport RFID label, tag, and shipment data where a current contract, program, or customer process requires it.
Lifecycle data and integrationsPlan APIs, databases, files, XML, reporting, lifecycle records, and shipping documents around the customer's current process and validation needs.

Workflow

From requirement review to item and shipment workflow

  1. Review the current contract and customer process
  2. Define UID/IUID, serialization, item, container, shipment, and RFID needs
  3. Configure label, Data Matrix, packing, document, and review workflow
  4. Plan data exchange with customer systems where required
  5. Validate test shipments and exception cases
  6. Use the configured process for live shipment work

Requirement review

Requirements should be verified for the actual contract

Defense shipping requirements vary by contract, program, and current government system requirements. Prime2Defense should be configured and validated against the requirements that apply to the specific shipment workflow.

Rocket RFID can help review the workflow and configure Prime2Defense around applicable contract/process needs, but the customer should confirm authoritative requirements for their program and shipment.

Dependent on:

  • Current contract requirements
  • Current government rules and system requirements
  • Correct label, UID/IUID, RFID, and document configuration
  • Customer process and user review
  • Validation before live shipment workflow
  • Ongoing review when requirements change

Licensing and deployment

Discuss current cloud, site, and deployment options

Prime2Defense licensing and deployment can be discussed as cloud, site, or other deployment options depending on users, hosting expectations, workflow volume, support needs, and current commercial terms.

Current licensing, hosting, implementation, and support should be discussed based on the actual workflow, number of users, deployment requirements, and current commercial terms.
